Finding the present moment

The painting depicts me in a Cathedral, letting go of the Tree of Thoughts. The tree has two figures arguing, one future and one past ( more about The Tree of Thoughts here ).

Thoughts only exist in time, either remembering the past or anticipating the future, so the tree contains numerous suns and moons representing these thoughts. As I let go of the Tree, so the sun and the moon come together in stillness above my head. I become the stillness of the Cathedral.
I become stillness.
