Finding stillness

Finding stillness.

I visited Chichester Cathedral in the UK and found myself sitting quietly in front of a tomb. The movement and chatter of people around me seemed to emphasise the stillness I was feeling within. This stillness enjoyed the lack of thoughts, the absense of time and I felt an awareness of how all things are connected when we become present in the moment.
Without thoughts of past and future, my ego became still.
It died, revealing a new awareness.
